Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH. You will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Preferred ACLS, state licensure, and ENPC/PALS certifications may be required. Travel pay, benefits, and recruiter support are provided.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Current ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification as per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
- Assist physicians by scrubbing in, passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor patient vital signs and procedural details; document accordingly.
- Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure readiness.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members for seamless care.
