Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Columbus, OH is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The IR tech will support physicians performing minimally invasive imaging-guided procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality throughout the case.

This travel role offers competitive compensation and a dedicated clinical team. Ideal candidates have 1+ year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound).
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, maintain sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide care.
• Follow infection control and regulatory guidelines.
