Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate has 2+ years IR experience and current ARRT(R) and BLS, ACLS preferred. You will work 4x10 hour days (8:30 AM–7:00 PM) with rotating days off and on-call requirements.

Work involves a broad range of IR procedures, Siemens equipment, PACS/EPIC charting, and travel benefits. fingerprinting and local candidate policies apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IR experience
• Current ARRT(R) and BLS; ACLS required
• License required if applicable
• Proficient with Siemens equipment
• Experience with venous access, central line care, PICC lines, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular studies
• Experience with genitourinary procedures including nephrostomy, biliary drainage, and ureteral stent placement preferred
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including PTCA a plus
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references including a manager/director/supervisor

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience to perform a wide range of interventional procedures using Siemens imaging equipment.

• Interventional Radiology department setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Call requirements include one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system
• EPIC charting system experience preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Current ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required; ACLS also required
• License required if applicable
• Proficient with Siemens equipment

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic interventions
• Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment to ensure procedural accuracy
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, preferably in EPIC
• Candidates must be made aware of Ohio's urgent fingerprinting process, which must be completed immediately upon contract signing
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible for a new travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for travel assignments
• First-time travelers are not considered; previous IR experience is required
