American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Loveland, Colorado. This Level I trauma hospital with a neuro thrombectomy program requires 2+ years of IR tech experience, ARRT certifications, and Epic/PACS proficiency.

Day shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call duties. You will work with Philips Azurion equipment, handle venous access and vascular studies, and maintain sterile fields.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I trauma hospital with neuro thrombectomy program, requiring 2+ years of experience and Level II trauma experience.

Details

• Level I trauma hospital with a neuro thrombectomy program
• Interventional Radiology unit
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One call night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend
• Must be able to work weekends independently
• Uses Philips Azurion equipment
• Epic charting system required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(VI) certifications required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Registered Interventional Radiology Technologist license required if applicable
• Level II trauma experience required, Level I trauma experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in venous access, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular studies
• Experience with IVC filter placement, mesenteric angiogram, and abdominal/pelvic procedures
• Experience with neurological procedures including carotid angiography, embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Experience with genitourinary procedures including nephrostomy and catheter/drain exchange
• Proficient in equipment set up, sterile field maintenance, and room circulation

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include prepping access sites, equipment setup, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures
• Familiarity with isolation precautions, PPE, and rapid response/code team protocols
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and PACS systems required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates previously employed by the facility system must disclose prior employment history
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during certain weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Local candidates accepted
