American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires 5+ years of Level 1 trauma critical care experience and RRT certification, with a 7p–7:30a night shift schedule (3x12s) and 36 hours per week.

You’ll work in MICU/SICU at a Level 1 trauma center, providing ventilator management, lung-protective strategies, and Code Blue participation, with Epic EMR experience preferred and local licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• RRT certification required.
• MA Respiratory Care license required.
• BLS certification required.
• NPS and/or ACCS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Recent critical care experience in MICU and SICU required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient respiratory therapy position at a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Provide ventilator management and critical care in MICU and SICU.
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7:30a, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Participate in Code Blue response team activities.
• Epic EMR documentation and patient data review.
• Possibly experience with Level III NICU and Drager XL/V500 ventilators.
