Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift role in Groton, Massachusetts, covering multiple campuses. The role requires trauma Level I, adult and pediatric critical care experience, and pediatric tracheostomy care. Expect nights (3x12s) with 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment, with EOW/EOH as needed.

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required; NRP preferred. Epic charting is a plus.

Qualifications

• MA RRT license required if applicable
• 2-3 years of experience required
• Adult critical care and pediatric experience required
• Pediatric tracheostomy care experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management, airway management/suctioning
• ABG interpretation
• Chest physiotherapy and medication delivery via nebulizer and inhalers
• Floats between 4 campuses with advanced notice
• Assist with external patient transports
• Performs intubation assist and extubation as needed
