TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role focuses on infusion therapy and PICC line care, delivering patient education and coordinating care across settings.

You will administer IV medications, monitor responses, and ensure safety while managing a caseload and adhering to infection control practices. Strong communication and autonomy are essential for success in a travel assignment.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience as RN in infusion settings.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for State licensure.
• Comfort with infusion therapy, PICC care, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assess infusion therapy and PICC needs for patients.
• Insert and care for PICC lines and central venous devices.
• Administer IV medications and monitor infusion responses.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions; adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and home management.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Manage caseload with timely visits and updates.
