Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel RN Infusion for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, GA. You will provide infusion/PICC nursing, manage IV therapies, and educate patients and families while collaborating with a care team. Expect 40 hours per week, days shift, with travel staffing dynamics.

The role requires BLS and at least 1.5 years of RN experience in infusion/PICC care, with benefits and travel support provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• RN with infusion/PICC experience and patient education.
• 1.5 years of experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for infusion therapy or PICC placement.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and central venous access devices.
• Administer IV meds and fluids per orders, monitor responses.
• Monitor patient responses during/after infusions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care across settings.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and care plans timely.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in all procedures.
• Manage caseload to ensure timely visits and high-quality care.
