TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel assignment in Dillsburg, PA. The role focuses on infusion therapy, PICC line management, and patient education across diverse clinical settings.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine infusion therapy or PICC needs.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and central venous access devices safely.
• Administer IV medications and fluids with proper infusion techniques and monitoring.
• Monitor responses during and after infusions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy at home.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in all procedures.
• Manage a caseload with timely visits and updates while ensuring quality care.
