TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel assignment in Burlington, Massachusetts. The role focuses on infusion therapy and PICC line management with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift. Travel employment typically offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year RN infusion experience, BLS certification, and eligibility for state licensure. Additional certifications may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine infusion needs.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and central venous devices.
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and infusions as prescribed with correct technique.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions; adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy at home.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care across settings.
• Assess and prevent complications related to infusion therapy; document interventions.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols; proper disposal of equipment.
• Manage caseload with timely visits and updates, ensuring quality care.
