Job summary

American Traveler is looking for an ICU RN to work a night shift in Texas with 2+ years ICU experience and travel nursing background. Active TX or compact RN license is required along with BLS/ACLS; ENPC or PALS certification is required, TNCC preferred.

Shift is nights (3x12 or 4x12, 19:00-07:00) with float to PCU/ED as needed. Lodging and licensure reimbursements are offered, plus travel rewards and non-taxed per diem.

Qualifications

• Active TX license or compact required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ENPC or PALS certification required, TNCC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• ICU setting with night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
• Float to PCU, overflow, and ED hold as needed, including taking 4 patients.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted.
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, upon arrival.
