Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a night-shift RN for an ICU assignment in Texas. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in critical care and active RN licensure either in TX or a multi-state compact, plus TNCC certification.

Travel-ready candidates with solid references are encouraged to apply. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with night hours 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and offers housing support, competitive pay, travel and licensure reimbursement, and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license TX or Compact is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience in critical care.
• No 90+ day gaps in the last 12 months.
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in ICU with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio.
• Night shift hours 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 13-week assignment.
• Float to HVU/PCU units as needed (1:4 ratio).
• Use MedHost EMR; transitioning to Cerner.
• Scrubs: solid color; reside >50 miles away; local candidates not considered.
• No on-call requirements; no 48-hour blocks.
