Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift ICU RN with critical care experience and VT or compact RN licensure. This role focuses on ICU/PCU patients on a 7p-7a schedule, with 36 hours per week and every-other weekend.

Responsibilities include managing vented patients with RT support, cardiac and insulin drips, responding to Rapid Response and Code Blue, and mentoring newer staff in telemetry rhythm interpretation. Local candidates accepted.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of critical care experience preferred
• Active VT RN license or multistate compact license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Responsibilities

• ICU/PCU care for step-down patients
• Night shift 7p-7a, 3x12s, 36 hours/week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Care for vented patients with RT support
• Manage cardiac and insulin drips, DKA protocols
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue events
• Assist newer staff with telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Local candidates accepted
