Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN with critical care and PCU/stepdown experience to support a newly opened PCU unit and float to MS/Tele and critical care areas as needed.

The role requires active TX or Compact RN license, minimum 2 years of RN experience, BLS/ACLS, and TNCC or TCAR (or within 30 days). Cerner charting is preferred; nights, 4x12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active TX or Compact RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• TNCC or TCAR certification required, or must obtain within 30 days of starting if not already held.
• Cerner charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in ICU, supporting a newly opened PCU unit.
• Care for MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care patients, with floating to these units during low census.
• MS/Tele ratio of 6:1; Critical Care ratio of 2:1.
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00).
