Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in a rural Vermont critical access hospital. A VT or compact RN license and telemetry proficiency are required, with BLS and ACLS certifications as prerequisites.

The role includes a four-bed open ICU and care for pediatric to geriatric patients with three 12-hour night shifts per week (7pm–7am). Travelers must arrange housing and have a personal vehicle; first-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Critical care experience
• Able to read telemetry

Responsibilities

• Patient mix includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric ICU patients

• Travelers start on Wednesdays
• Provide critical care nursing per AACN standards by age group
• Rural location about two hours from the nearest airport; no public transport
• Dependable personal vehicle required for assignment
