Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Silvis, Illinois. The ICU RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians and families.

This travel role spans a 13-week assignment with a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience in ICU preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and document patient data.
