Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an ICU travel nurse in Olney, IL for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and delivers 12-hour night shifts at 36 hours per week.

The ICU RN will monitor and treat patients, document care, and support families while collaborating with physicians and staff. Travel experience is preferred, with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Travel nurse experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU, documenting and implementing care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, administer meds, and report adverse reactions.
• Interpret diagnostics, manage equipment, and communicate with families.
• Educate families and coordinate with the care team as needed.
