Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Marion, Illinois. This role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and availability for 12-hour night shifts. You will evaluate and monitor patients in ICU, manage medications, assist physicians, and coordinate care with families.

Travel positions offer a 36-hour work week with a tax-free stipend to be determined, plus weekly pay and guaranteed hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of acute care in ICU or similar setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required. NI Hand?
• Travel nursing experience or willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ICU care and monitoring.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order/evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Monitor specialized equipment; ensure proper catheter/lead/tubing placement.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and coordinate with care teams.
