Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Simi Valley, CA. This travel RN role focuses on critical care in an ICU setting, with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour workweek.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. You will evaluate and monitor critical patients, document care, and communicate with families while supporting facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication with care teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care for ICU patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as needed.
