Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or a group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Supervise and direct activities of various nursing personnel, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document care accurately and promptly.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize care, ensure patient safety, and promote quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to develop and execute care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
