Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Clearlake, CA. The role is travel, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts. ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required, with 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.

The ICU RN will assess and monitor patients, coordinate with the care team, document care plans, and support families in critical situations. Travel nurses receive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required or in progress.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel assignment located in Clearlake, CA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU as part of the travel team.
• Document and implement physician-directed patient care plans.
• Support families and coordinate with other care providers as needed.
• Administer medications, monitor equipment, and interpret tests.
• Ensure proper patient placement and safety of lines and tubes.
