Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics with 8+ years in commercial HVACR service, including rooftop units, chillers, pumps, and ammonia/hydrocarbon systems. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC equipment on commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in light commercial and commercial mechanical equipment service.
• Must be able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, ammonia/hydrocarbon components.
• EPA refrigerants license and applicable state/local licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVACR systems.
• Provide quotes and recommendations for service and upsell opportunities.
• Work with Servicemen and apprentices and train on the job when needed.
• Prioritize safety and maintain clear communication with customers about problems and corrective actions.
