Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site HVAC technician for commercial/industrial systems in the Washington, DC area. You will troubleshoot, repair and install chillers, boilers, pumps, and related equipment, using alignment and vibration diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.

You will communicate clearly with teammates and customers, collaborate with a strong team, and participate in the United Association programs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC professional with several years of experience on commercial/industrial systems.
• Must hold Universal EPA refrigerant license and be open to travel.
• Experience with troubleshooting chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors and related equipment; knowledge of alignment and vibration diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install advanced commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose issues, explain solutions to customers, ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
• Collaborate with a professional team, mentor apprentices, and grow technical knowledge.
