Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores and travel between accounts. Assigned stores will be serviced on designated weekdays per schedule, with travel up to 100% of the time.

You will ensure merchandising standards, replenish stock, and follow planograms while maintaining professional communication with store staff. Must have reliable transportation and be able to use Movista or similar apps.

Qualifications

General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
Conduct self in a professional manner.
Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
Reliable transportation for travel.
Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

100% Merchandising in retail environment; apply store and corporate standards; replenish products; assemble shelves and displays per measurement guidelines.
Service assigned stores per schedule; obtain approval before overtime or hours outside schedule.
Accurately record work hours and related information using designated apps.
Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing duties not listed.
Other duties as assigned; maintain professional relationships with store personnel.
