Job summary

HD Supply seeks a data‑driven supply chain professional to optimize distribution and forecasting across multiple projects. The role emphasizes warehouse design, network optimization, and analytics, with substantial travel to client sites and vendors.

You will develop tools, scorecards, and models to improve supplier collaboration and supply chain performance, while leading data‑driven problem solving across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting warehouse design/build, network optimization or DC transformation.
• SQL skills: intermediate–advanced (complex queries, joins, subqueries).
• Experience with slotting optimization, inventory control and replenishment planning.
• WMS experience, SAP WM or SAP EWM preferred.
• Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops forecasting, replenishment and logistics decision processes.
• Analyzes supply chain data and develops strategies for performance improvement.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to improve supplier collaboration and monthly updates.
• Supports central replenishment activities and inventory forecasting with vendors.
• Creates supply chain metrics and evaluates data to drive decisions.
• Plans promotions, price changes and exit strategies in cooperation with Merchants.
• Develops financial models to analyze inventory cost/benefit in multi‑tier channels.
