Job summary

HD Supply seeks a supply chain systems specialist to identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost across a regional DC network. You will help design, implement, and optimize systems and processes, acting as a change agent with internal and external partners.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, technology adoption, and cross-functional collaboration, including onsite implementation. A strong background in WMS/SAP and warehouse design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years in supply chain, warehouse ops or related field.
• Experience designing distribution center layouts and supply chain optimization projects.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, automation, storage systems, racking, conveyors, inventory systems, and facility design.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and maintaining warehouse location data and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Generates actionable insights to drive data clean up, process improvement, compliance, improved technology utilization, or new technology adoption.
• Identifies, gathers, and analyzes raw operational and supply chain data for analysis; determines root cause and action plans.
• Supports technology adoption through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration with consultants and teams.
• Provides training and problem resolution to internal and external customers on supply chain systems solutions.
• Develops decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit of technology solutions.
• Collaborates with DC staff, management, and consultants to implement and sustain supply chain systems.
