Job summary
Sentrillion is seeking a field IT/ security technician to install, test, and repair physical security, low voltage, and IT systems for customers in the Richmond area and beyond. You will travel up to 85% of the time, deploying cameras, card readers, controllers, and related equipment, and configuring Windows-based systems for secure operation.
The role emphasizes hands-on installation, QA/QC feedback, and coordination of materials, schedules, and project deliverables in dynamic environments
Qualifications
- Associates degree or 2 years of relevant installation experience substituted for degree.
- Experience with IP camera installation and maintenance preferred.
- Understanding of low voltage physical security systems and VMS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot low voltage infrastructure for security and IT systems.
- Set up and configure Windows OS and network settings on devices.
- Provide QA/QC feedback and ensure proper equipment performance.
- Arrange procurement and logistics for project materials.
- Coordinate installation and tracking of purchased materials and deliverables.
