Job summary

Sentrillion is seeking a Field Technology Specialist to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage security systems and IT infrastructure across multiple environments.

You will install cameras, access control, biometric devices, and related hardware, coordinating materials, wiring, and QA to meet design specs. This role demands hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in low voltage installation or IT hardware deployment.
• Experience with IP-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with video surveillance systems.
• Ability to read design plans, schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Valid driver's license; willing to travel up to 85%.
• Industry certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, BICSI) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems for security and IT infrastructure.
• Install and maintain cameras, access control, biometric systems, and locking hardware.
• Work with video and data cabling; assemble and deploy hardware with hand/power tools.
• Coordinate materials and equipment for project execution and track deliveries.
• Provide QA feedback and assist in system hardening and Windows configuration.
• Travel up to 85% as needed; ensure compliance with design specs.
