Job summary

Kargo Technologies in Atlanta, GA is seeking a field technician to travel up to 90% to customer facilities, install and service loading dock hardware, and coordinate with contractors.

You will work with manufacturing, product, and sales teams to ensure proper configs, provide on-site support, and document activities. A strong background in mechanical, electrical, and optical troubleshooting is required.

High school diploma and US work authorization required; willingness to travel and extend hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment, vehicles, utilities, robotics, or similar systems.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and optical troubleshooting; experience across all three systems preferred.
• High availability for short-notice domestic travel; travel may extend outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities and lead inspection, installation, and servicing visits for Kargo's customers.
• Install Kargo towers and other hardware products at customer facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors at customer sites for electrical work and installation assistance.
• Coordinate tower and tool shipping from Kargo inventory to customer sites.
• Work with Manufacturing to provide configs and specs determined from site visits to customers.
• Work with Product and Hardware teams to make engineering recommendations to simplify installation and relevant features.
• Interact with customers at on-site visits; coordinate with sales and customer success teams.
• Travel up to 90%; company-paid flights, hotels, and meals.
