Kargo is seeking aField Service Technician to install and service our loading-dock sensor platform at customer facilities across the US. You will lead inspections, install towers and hardware, coordinate with contractors, and document configurations for the Product and Hardware teams.

This is a hands-on, travel-heavy role requiring near 90% travel and the ability to work outside normal hours. Strong mechanical, electrical and optical troubleshooting skills plus good communication are essential.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer facilities and lead inspection, installation, and servicing visits for Kargo's customers.
• Install Kargo towers and other hardware products at customer facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors at customer sites for electrical work, forklift modifications, and installation assistance.
• Coordinate tower and tool shipping from Kargo inventory to customer sites.
• Work with Manufacturing to provide configs and specs determined from site visits to customers.
• Work with our Product and Hardware teams to make engineering recommendations to simplify installation and relevant features.
• Interact with customers at on-site visits. This is not a sales role and most customer visits will include people from Kargo's Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams. Still, this role will involve coordinating with customers to discuss timing and installation preferences.
• High expectation for travel, you must be comfortable with near 90% travel.
