TriMedia Environmental & Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a Survey & Utility Locating Field Technician to support our Utility Services team on nationwide projects. You will perform construction staking, locate underground utilities, collect field data, and operate survey equipment in diverse field environments.

This role requires travel up to 80% across the United States. A background in surveying, GIS, or related fields is valued, with opportunities for hands-on growth and professional

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 80% across the United States.
• Background in surveying, utility locating, GIS, engineering support, mapping, or related fieldwork.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience using GPS/GNSS, survey instruments, and utility-locating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction staking, field layout, and as-built surveys.
• Locate underground utilities using electronic locating equipment.
• Collect field data using GPS/GNSS, GIS, and surveying instruments.
• Operate and maintain survey, locating, and field-data equipment.
• Review completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Communicate with project managers, field crews, clients, and project partners.
• Work safely around active construction sites, underground utilities, and heavy equipment.
• Follow company, client, and project-specific safety requirements.
