Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surveying Technology or 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience using utility locating equipment and survey instruments preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 75% and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform utility locating and field investigation using locating equipment and records.
• Use survey-grade GPS/GNSS equipment to locate utilities and field features.
• Conduct topographic, construction, as-built, control, boundary, and other surveys as required.
• Perform construction staking and layout with documented locations and elevations.
• Collect and document field data and ensure accuracy for project deliverables.
• Record field notes, sketches, photos, measurements, and data per procedures.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Follow safety and quality requirements around active sites and utilities.
