UVeye is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead on-site installations and service of automated vehicle inspection systems across the US and Canada, with ongoing deployments globally. The role involves guiding contractors, configuring, calibrating, and validating systems, and ensuring safety and quality at every site.

The position requires 4+ years in field roles, strong investigative skills, Linux basics, and the ability to read AutoCAD drawings.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of on-site field installation experience.
• Experience leading contractors during installations.
• Hands-on civil, networking, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Proficient with Linux-based systems and basic networking.
• Ability to read site layouts and technical drawings (AutoCAD/Autodesk).
• Strong documentation and on-site communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% across US/Canada and beyond.
• Valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Lead on-site system installations and guide contractors.
• Deploy, calibrate, and validate UVeye inspection systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and integration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
• Ensure safety compliance on-site.
• Assess sites using drawings and resolve discrepancies.
• Be primary technical contact with customers on-field.
• Maintain installation and service documentation.
• Manage time and expenses per company guidelines.
