Job summary

UVeye is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service automated vehicle inspection systems across the US and Canada. You will lead on-site installations, calibrate systems, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking in diverse environments.

The role requires up to 100% travel, strong documentation skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver reliable deployments and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in field engineering or field service roles.
• Experience leading contractors during installations.
• Ability to read site layouts and technical drawings.
• Experience documenting installation, service and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installations and guide contractors to meet specs.
• Install, calibrate, configure and validate systems for operation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and integration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures on-site.
• Assess sites using drawings and AutoCAD-like tools.
• Own on-site customer experience and communication.
• Document work and escalate technical issues as needed.
• Manage time and expenses following company guidelines.
