Job summary

Cencora is hiring Field Reimbursement Specialists to educate provider offices in NC, SC, and GA on access and reimbursement. The role requires up to 80% travel, including overnights, and coordination with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.

You will build relationships with healthcare offices to resolve access issues and support patients in obtaining therapies. Ideal candidates will have experience in revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, coding, prior authorization, and payer

Qualifications

• Experience in revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, formulary, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits/policies.
• Knowledge of physician buy-and-bill model vs. assignment of benefits to alternate sites of care.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider offices and managers on logistics to support products, including in-office administration and coverage changes.
• Educate on payer coverage strategies including coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Support patients through reimbursement topics related to client products.
