Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to join the Enterprise Travel Service Team. The role involves installing Motorola DMR infrastructure, DAS/BDA ERCES systems, and cable plants in enterprise sites across a travel-heavy schedule.

You will read drawings, support on-site commissioning, and maintain safety across diverse environments, with a focus on teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced field crew.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of low-voltage installation experience in commercial or enterprise environments.
• Experience with DAS, BDA, or structured cabling systems preferred.
• OSHA 10 is preferred and BearCom may sponsor if not held.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR; background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and terminate coax, fiber, CAT5/6, and low-voltage cables in enterprise sites.
• Support DAS/BDA ERCES system installations including head-end equipment and distribution networks.
• Fabricate and organize equipment closets with racks and cable management.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning, and on-site kickoffs.
• Read and follow installation drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
