Job summary

Third Coast Distributing is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple NAPA AutoParts stores across South and Central Texas. You will coach Store Managers, set goals, and drive district profitability through strategic planning, expense control, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has multi-unit retail leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket, strong analytics, and excellent communication skills. Travel >50% is required; the role reports to the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in automotive after-market service or multi-unit retail management.
• Proven leadership of store teams and ability to develop talent.
• Strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cataloging systems.
• Travel more than 50% of time; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Drive district-wide sales growth by executing business strategies and identifying opportunities.
• Maximize district profitability through controlling labor, expenses, inventory, and operations.
• Provide leadership to store management teams and align with company goals.
• Analyze key business metrics and financial reports to improve district performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of initiatives, merchandising standards, and service.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing store leaders.
• Establish accountability and drive continuous improvement across stores.
• Monitor compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulations.
• Travel to assigned stores, partner with leadership to improve sales and customer experience.
