Job summary

Presidio in Charlotte, NC is seeking an on-site AV Integration Technician to install displays, projectors, audio systems, and teleconferencing gear. The role involves regular travel to client sites regionally, with 75–85% travel expected.

You will work under Lead Technicians and Project Managers, perform low-voltage cabling, test systems, and contribute to site readiness. Some certification in CTS or related AV tech is valued, and on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the low voltage or AV industry.
• Must be able to work on a ladder, lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and bend/kneel for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to travel to client sites regularly (regional travel).

Responsibilities

• Onsite installation including displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems.
• Install, test, and terminate low voltage cabling to support AV implementations.
• Take instructions from Lead Technician and Project Managers to complete AV installation.
• Learn basics of operating various collaboration platforms; CTS certification growth is encouraged.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware for installation prep.
• Communicate with other trades and handle basic customer communication onsite.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
