Job summary

Allied Fire Protection is seeking a Data Center Alarm Construction Technician who will install, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems for large-scale data center projects. You will read plans and wiring diagrams, manage on-site installation, and ensure safety and code compliance.

The role requires traveling to multiple job sites, leadership to direct tasks, and accurate documentation to support project goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fire alarm systems.
• Read fire alarm blueprints, submittals and operation manuals.
• NFPA/NEC knowledge and local codes familiarization.
• NICET Level II Fire Alarm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems in data centers and buildings.
• Lead and direct tasks to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate schedules, supervise helpers, and ensure safety standards.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain inventory and equipment.
• Travel frequently within the U.S. (up to 80%), including several weeks on-site.
