Job summary

Next Level Technician in El Paso, TX is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with 5+ years of experience to install, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems in hyperscale data center environments. Candidates must have Texas licensing and be willing to travel to other project locations nationwide.

Weekly pay, competitive wages ($38-$48 per hour), and comprehensive benefits are offered. This long-term, 2-year project supports career growth with BICSI-certified training and safety-focused practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems.
• Current Texas fire alarm licensing/credentialing is required for this position.
• Experience with VESDA piping and/or fire alarm systems is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes).
• Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, FireLite is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install, pull, route, dress, label, and terminate fire alarm and VESDA piping/wiring in hyperscale data center environments.
• Install fire alarm devices and components within hot aisle containment systems, skids, and related assemblies.
• Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints; troubleshoot and service existing systems.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts; comfortable with heights and travel to other project locations as needed.
• Install and support additional low voltage systems at commercial/industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses).
