Job summary

Allied Fire Protection is seeking an Alarm Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm and life safety systems for data center projects. You will read plans, install, program, test, and troubleshoot alarms while working in active construction environments and traveling to multiple job sites across the U.S.

The role requires experience with fire alarm systems, plan interpretation, and strong safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience installing Alarm systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to read fire alarm blueprints and submittals.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm systems in various buildings and industries.
• Oversee tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Complete paperwork and submittals accurately.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and train junior staff.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle tools.
