Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking a Fire Systems Technician to travel to customer sites and perform scheduled testing, documenting results to ensure systems operate correctly.

You will inspect fire detection equipment, report findings to clients, and assist with routine maintenance to keep systems reliable. NICET certification is preferred, but strong experience is acceptable in lieu of certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in testing/installing fire detection systems.
• Strong technical aptitude with basic troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication with a customer-service focus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Utilize testing apparatus to verify operation of installed fire detection systems.
• Provide test results and summaries to clients on functionality of Fire Detection systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of Fire Detection Systems for reliability.
• Assist in documenting service procedures and related activities.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver quality service.
