Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking a Fire Technician to perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of fire protection equipment.

The role requires travel to customer sites, adherence to safety protocols and documentation accuracy for invoicing and records. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, be willing to obtain a TWIC card, and pursue required fire licenses or NICET II training within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Must pass internal forklift certification as required.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and offshore projects.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC card and pass safety trainings (OSHA 10, Basic Plus, etc).
• Have or obtain applicable State Fire Licenses or NICET Level II testing within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs shop service or field inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Completes inspection and repair documents for invoicing and records.
• Lears to conduct pre-job, job update and post-job briefs.
• Assists with loading, stocking, and staging equipment for deliveries.
• Works in team environments and adheres to safety regulations.
