Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a nationwide tank construction company with headquarters outside Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead on-site crews, supervise welding and tank projects, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to contract scope.

You will coordinate with customers, vendors and subcontractors, mentor field staff, and uphold PTS standards for productivity and professionalism across diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and organizational skills required.
• Problem solving and willingness to learn essential.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and maintain good attendance.
• HS diploma or equivalent and US work eligibility.
• Background checks, driving record checks, and drug testing may be required.
• Ability to weld is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and on-site senior leadership for PTS projects.
• Act as point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity throughout the project.
• Understand contract scope and identify field changes (change orders).
• Provide leadership on safety and foster a safety culture on site.
• Lead quality control to prevent rework and ensure workmanship.
• Enhance field productivity, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Share craft knowledge in welding, structural erection, and tank work.
• Assist in recruiting field workers and coordinate with PM/HR.
• Complete daily paperwork and ensure proper tool and equipment maintenance.
