Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee project controls, scheduling, procurement, and reporting across multiple disciplines. You will interface with clients, engineers, subcontractors and project management to drive on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

You will travel up to 90% across the United States, supporting projects for MasTec Industrial and Casey Industrial teams. The role includes safety leadership, documentation, and coordination of field activities, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Be able to lead field teams and coordinate with client, engineering and subcontractors.
• Ability to read, interpret and review engineering drawings and contract documents.
• Strong safety culture and ability to participate in toolbox talks and safety reviews.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the U.S. for project assignments (up to 90% travel).

Responsibilities

• Represent professionally in all client interactions.
• Provide required reports (weekly, monthly, schedule) to the client.
• Follow Corporate Safety Plan and site safety plan.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material/work progress calculations.
• Develop and review work plans and work packages.
• Manage field documentation and subcontractor coordination.
• Create and monitor project schedules and procurement status reports.
• Support engineers with data for submittals and transmittals.
