Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Worcester, MA. The role involves rapid assessment, critical care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a busy Emergency Department.

The candidate will bring at least 1 year of ER experience, valid RN license in MA, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in MA or state compliance.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Triage and rapidly assess patients on arrival.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per ER protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Monitor patient status and comfort throughout the ED stay.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
