Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 26-week travel assignment in Worcester, MA. This position features a 12-hour night shift and a 36-hour work week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of ER experience, holds an active RN license, and maintains BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC). Travel-friendly benefits and dedicated clinical support are provided.
Qualifications
- One year of ER RN experience required.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
- Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification required.
Responsibilities
- rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care.
- Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
- Assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED and respond to needs.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists and support staff to ensure quality care.
