Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Worcester, MA. This 26-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts as a travel employment opportunity.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. You will evaluate, triage and deliver care in a fast-paced ED environment, performing wound care, IV therapy, and patient education.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care ER experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; additional certifications may be needed before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
