TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for Worcester, MA. The ER RN will work a 26-week assignment on 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, in a fast-paced ER environment.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with additional certifications potentially needed before starting. The role emphasizes triage, bedside care, IV therapy, and coordination with a diverse care team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS; additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to ER patients.
• Perform IV therapy and wound care.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Triage, assess, and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and allergies; coordinate with team.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
