Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The ER RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, provide rapid assessment and treatment in a fast-paced emergency department, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include one year of ER RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort in the ED.
• Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR.
